★★★★ I spent three nights at the Macfie family home. I was made very welcome and I was very comfortable in my top floor room. The ensuite bathroom is very modern with a very good shower.

If you are looking for a sterile hotel room with no character then don’t stay here. I found the Macfie family very helpful and I enjoyed dinner one night at Chez Jules following John Macfie‘s recommendation. The house is beautiful and interesting. The Macfie family are charming. I enjoyed the breakfast – especially the wonderful home made muesli, marmalade and jam.
